Friends and Neighbors,

It has been a long time since the economy was this bad and so many people were so negatively affected. Whether it is losing your job or losing half of your retirement account, the pain for all of us is real.

I am running for this position in the legislature because I want to be a voice for those of us in rural Washington who want to do our part to get our state back on track.

This isn’t a partisan fight anymore, it’s a community fight where we need help each other get through these tough times and come out stronger, more united, and more supportive.

I want you to know, I will fight new tax increases and for personal property rights. I will go to Olympia to represent the values and interest of local farmers and agriculture. I will fight to keep our education system strong at all levels. I will fight for seniors and people on fixed incomes who are having trouble meeting their expenses and with their healthcare cost. And frankly, I will fight the liberal agenda driven by legislators from downtown Seattle who don’t understand our way of life.

Most important, I will work hard for you. I will listen, learn, and be your clear voice in Olympia. As I do that, my door will be open to your concerns and the interest of the people of the 9th district.
